Western lands 2 BIG recruits from their backyard (VIDEO 2x)

The University of Western Ontario Mustangs announced today the signing of Alex Kurowski and Nathan Caranci. Both are Offensive Linemen, both are Catholic Central players, both are London natives and both are ready to play for the Mustangs in 2011. Offensive line coach Chris Bertoia had this to say about the two new additions to his unit:

“We are extremely happy that both Alex and Nathan have chosen to be Western Mustangs. Both players were highly recruited throughout Canada and are welcome additions to what is shaping up to be a very good recruiting class in 2011. They’re both excellent additions to our team, specifically the offensive line. They’re both athletic and strong, and they are smart football players that have been well coached and come from a very good high school program at Catholic Central. I’m excited for the opportunity to coach these two players and we’re glad they chose Western!”

Nathan had this to say about the opportunity to play for his home town school. “I’m happy to have finally made the decision. Western is a great school and I’m excited to start working with the team.”
