Christopher has played for the Brampton Bulldogs of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL) for 11 years. During his time there, he has been named Bulldogs Defensive MVP numerous times as well as an OVFL Bantam All-Star in 2012.

Chris also plays for his high school team St. Thomas Aquinas Cardinals of the Region of Peel Secondary School Athletic Association (ROPSSAA). He was named Defensive MVP in 2014.

Spirituality is a driving force behind Christopher’s drive to play the sport.

ā€œGod is the most influential figure in my life,ā€ says Christopher, whose influences include his father and coaches. Ā ā€œI live my life to reflect him.ā€

Christopher’s works out five days a week with his coaches before school and has recently stepped up his workout plan,

ā€œI am starting to go to a personal trainer who specializes with football players to improve my speed and strength,” adds the Cardinals standout.

He also is part of St. Thomas’ track team, participating in the 3000m race and javelin.

He displayed his athleticism during one specific game this year against the OVFL’s Hamilton Ironmen where the Bulldogs made a second half comeback due in part to Christopher’s performance playing at both the linebacker and quarterback positions.

As for the recruitment process, he hopes to take as many visits as possible during the summer. He’s currently considering Western, Waterloo, and York with the hope of staying close to home but is open to any and all possibilities.

Additionally, he would like to play in the CFL, but also wants to study kinesiology to become a massage therapist. However, his dream is to become a firefighter.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
