Assistant Football Coach

The University of Windsor is accepting applications for the following
position:

ASSISTANT FOOTBALL COACH (Nine month contractual ? approximately July 1st ?
March 31st)
Department of Athletics and Recreational Services
Non Union Administration ? Posting Reference # 2010-NU-07

The Assistant Football Coach reports to the Head Football Coach in the
Department of Athletics and Recreational Services. The incumbent will be
responsible for the evaluation and recruitment of qualified
student-athletes, as well as serve as a position coach and coordinate
either the offensive or defensive units. In addition, they will monitor
academic progress of student-athletes and support fundraising activities of
the booster club. The candidate will manage the summer youth camps for
football and high-school visits along with recruiting. The successful
applicant will have a Bachelors degree in a related field along with
significant experience as a football coach. At least five (5) years of
football coaching at the post-secondary level and experience in leadership
roles within a post-secondary environment would be an asset. As well, it
would be preferred that the candidate possess a NCCP Level 3 certification
or equivalent.
