The University of Windsor’s Department of Athletics and Recreational Services invites applications for the position of Associate Head Coach of the Lancers Men’s Football Program commencing as early as February 15, 2013. This position is an Ancillary Academic Staff position renewable after an initial three-year term. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.
The Associate Head Football Coach reports directly to the Head Football Coach and will be responsible to lead one of the offensive, defensive or special teams units as coordinator. Additionally, the successful candidate will serve as the recruiting coordinator, community and alumni outreach, communications and camps coordinator for the Men’s Varsity Football Program. Additional administrative duties within the Department of Athletics and Recreational Services will be assigned. The successful candidate will also be expected to teach a course on an annual basis within the Bachelor of Human Kinetics undergraduate degree program.
A strong football coaching background, preferably at the University or College level, is essential. Strong communication, organizational and administrative skills, and an undergraduate degree are required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
The candidate must have NCCP Level II certification or equivalent.
