The Winnipeg Rifles 10th Anniversary season is right around the corner. Today, the Prairie Football Conference unveiled its 2011 schedule. Here is a look at the Rifles 2011 schedule.

The Green Gunners open their final season at Canad Inns Stadium on Sunday August 14th as they host the Edmonton Huskies. As in seasons past, all home games will be 12 noon starts. After an August 21st visit to Saskatoon, the Rifles return home to play the 2010 championship game finalists Regina Thunder on the 28th.

It’s back on the road the following Sunday as the Rifles play the Wildcats in Edmonton in what is fast becoming a Labour Day Weekend tradition. After the game in Edmonton, the club has a bye week.

The Gunners return to action as they close out a 2-game road swing in Regina versus the Thunder on the 18th of September. The following Sunday, the Calgary Colts come calling in the first of a 2-game homestand which closes on October 2nd against the PFC champion Saskatoon Hilltops in the regular season home finale at the stadium.

The regular season concludes on October 9th as the Rifles head to McMahon Stadium to battle the Colts as all 6 PFC clubs see action on the season’s final day.
