MMJFL Week 5 PREVIEW

The Greendell Falcons pulled the plug on their Majors team this weekend making the Manitoba Major Junior Football League a stronger more competitive league.Β  A perennial under achiever the Falcons came out of the gate struggling this year and their demise was both predictable and inevitable. Their players have now been released to join other teams bringing almost all of the remaining teams in the MMJFL up to full roster.

This weekend there are two games on tap in the MMJFL, each game having great significance.

The Westman Wolverines are playing host to the Transcona Nationals. This game is the first in a back to back matchup. If either of these teams can sweep this home and home series their chance for making the playoffs increases dramatically.
