2013 Wilson Challenge Preview: Reaching for the top

One team that will challenge the QBFL Elites in the under-17 category at the 2013 Wilson Challenge is the Laval-Laurentides-Launadiere.

Launadiere Head Coach Marc Allaire said that the team will be tough and competitive throughout the tournament.

“Our team will fight hard on every play,” commented Allaire.

Dimitri Sinodinos will be the starting quarterback while Benjamin Juteau and Philippe Lefebvre will serve as backups. Three players that will figure prominently in the offensive game plan for the Launadiere are running back Sebastien Auger, receiver Adam l’Herreux and lineman Nicholas Pinard.

Defensive lineman Nicolas Lesage, linebacker Olivier Tremblay and defensive back Tristan Fleury are other players to watch for on the Launadiere.

Overall, there is one hump the team would like to overcome at the 2013 Wilson Challenge.

“The last two years we have finished third,” explained Allaire.  “This year we would like to reach the top two positions.”

Laval-Laurentides-Launadiere will begin play in the 2013 Wilson Challenge on Sunday against Maurice Estrie Centre du Quebec at 3:00pm.
