Condolences to the De La Perralle family

Montreal Football legend Earl De La Perralle (Sun Youth Organization) lost his wife Hilda this week.  Earl is well known and well respected by many football coaches across North America.  Sun Youth has produced some great football and basketball players over the years including Patrick Kabongo (BC Lions), Marwan Hage (Tiger-cats), Marc Calixte (Calgary), Pascal Fils (Edmonton), Tommy Kane (Seattle Seahawks), James Munroe (Saskatchewan), David De La Perralle (Toronto), Frank and Phillip Yeboah Kodi (Penn State).

“Earl has been the cornerstone of Amateur Football in Quebec for the past thirty years!  Through his work at the Sun Youth Organization, he has enabled thousands of young men in Montreal’s inner city to become outstanding citizens and athletes. He has also been a Father figure for some of this Nation’s best football players for decades.  Our condolences go out to the De La Perralle family at this sad time.”

Earl has been a pillar of minor football in Quebec and was the key guy in the development of the International games and Canada’s participation in the Global Championships played in Atlanta, Houston, Jacksonville, Detroit and Miami prior to Football Canada’s involvement.
