International commit playing in Canada ready for McGill

McGill brings in a player from France to their Class of 2017.

Lucas Velurie, a wide receiver from CΓ©gep de Thetford, will be heading to the big city after signing with the McGill Redmen.

Velurie is currently housed in Thetford Mines, QuΓ©bec, which is south of QuΓ©bec City. Between 2015 and 2016, he played as a slot back for Les Filons du CΓ©gep de Thetford (RSEQ Division 2). He spent three years as a wide receiver with the EDF junior team in the FΓ©dΓ©ration franΓ§aise de football amΓ©ricain out of La Courneuve, France. Standing at 6’0, 175lbs, he also spent four years with the Thonon-les-Bains Black Panthers (American Football Internaitonal) where he played as a wide receiver and defensive back.
