International commit playing in Canada ready for McGill

McGill brings in a player from France to their Class of 2017.

Lucas Velurie, a wide receiver from Cégep de Thetford, will be heading to the big city after signing with the McGill Redmen.

Velurie is currently housed in Thetford Mines, Québec, which is south of Québec City. Between 2015 and 2016, he played as a slot back for Les Filons du Cégep de Thetford (RSEQ Division 2). He spent three years as a wide receiver with the EDF junior team in the Fédération française de football américain out of La Courneuve, France. Standing at 6’0, 175lbs, he also spent four years with the Thonon-les-Bains Black Panthers (American Football Internaitonal) where he played as a wide receiver and defensive back.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
