The Jr. Argos are now 0-7 and risk having a winless record going into their last game of the season. The season will be over for Toronto next week, but head coach Frank Trentadue is proud of his players nonetheless.
A short bench did not help the Jr. Argo cause as they were playing the strong Sudbury squad. With about two dozens team members making the long trip up to Sudbury, it did not take long for fatigue to set in. Regardless, Toronto made some great plays and never stopped playing hard.
The Gladiators moved to 7-0 to win the OFC north division and secure home field advantage for the playoffs.
The final game of the Jr. Argos season will take place at 2:00PM at Father Henry Carr stadium in Toronto against the Nipissing Wild. The game will be a re-match as the Jr. Argos were beat by the Wild earlier this season. The game finished with a close 20-23 score, so expect another close game this Sunday.
