Team Canada Football – All Packed-Up and Ready To Go

The 45 man roster has been set and we have just completed our week-long training camp in London, Ontario. The team is really starting to come together on and of the field and are we extremely excited about heading overseas today.

We realize that we are the only team that has to adjust to the American football rules, but we have done so without too many problems. The biggest challenges for a QB is the width of the field and making sure everyone is set properly before the snap. In Canadian football, we become use to WR’s and RB’s motioning all over the place.

We have a long travel day ahead of us, but we then have 5 full practice days before our first game. This will allow us to get use to the time change along with the grass surfaces we will be playing on.

One week until our first game and two weeks today until the gold medal game, which is our ultimate goal.

I will hopefully be updating in a few days from Graz, Austria.

Go Canada!!!
