David Adebayo

Edmonton running back becomes third Titans standout to join CWUAA team’s 2014 class.

The promising future and familiarity of a football program sold an Alberta standout on his commitment decision.

Recently, David Adebayo committed to the Alberta Golden Bears.Ā  The 5ā€™9, 190 pound running back from Edmonton, Alberta will join the Bears for the 2014 CWUAA season.

ā€œI signed with the University of Alberta because I am already familiar with the coaching staff and I feel like they will give me the best opportunity to grow as a player,ā€ said Adebayo of his decision.Ā  ā€œI also think the program is going to continue to get better and I want to be part of that and contribute every way I can.ā€

The Alberta offensive standout completed his high school career with Harry Ainlay Titans of the Alberta Schools Athletic Association (ASAA).Ā  This past fall, he scored 12 touchdowns.Ā  In July 2013, Adebayo represented his home province as a member of Team Alberta at the 2013 Football Canada Cup in Moncton, New Brunswick.

With Adebayoā€™s commitment, he is the third Titans standout to commit to the Golden Bears.Ā  He will be reunited with former Titans teammates Kain Kell and VuyaniNdhiovu, who recently signed with the team.
