BC HIGH SCHOOL NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:
Abbotsford RB Dion Pellerin had 23 carries for 182 yards and two scores, and caught two passes for 57
yards in a 38-17 win over Centennial. Teammate RB Dylan Manocha had 18 rushes for 75 yards and two
TDs.
Terry Fox RB Taylor Poitras had 18 carries for 169 yards and two touchdowns in a 27-13 win over
Kelowna. Teammate RB Jeremie Kankolongo ran for 114 yards and also had a pair of touchdowns.
St. Thomas More RB Lucas Dalla-Vecchia had 21 carries for 101 yards and a touchdown, and also had a
TD reception in a 29-7 win over Lord Tweedsmuir.
Seaquam QB Tristen Yanciw had a pair of rushing touchdowns, and threw touchdown strikes of 72-yards
(REC Tyson Philpot) and 23-yards (REC Ty Mennie) in an upset 35-34 win over Handsworth. RB
Maskaki Kawanami scored on a 16-yard sweep for the winning points.
Handsworth REC Jacob Ghazizadeh had three touchdowns in a 35-34 loss to Seaquam.
Notre Dame QB Anthony Crescenzo had two rushing touchdowns and a 50-yard TD pass in a 35-7 win
over Belmont. Teammate RB Adam Turrin scored two majors, including one on a 75-yard run off tackle,
as well as kicked five PATs.
Argyle QB Cole Theobald went 13-of-27 in the air for 129 yards and three touchdowns to lead his team
to a historic 21-0 win over West Vancouver in the school’s first-ever Triple A game.
West Vancouver LB Riley Burns registered 11 tackles and two sacks in a 21-0 loss to Argyle.
GW Graham QB Gabe Oliveras went 12-of-18 for 246 yards and threw four touchdowns in a 42-0 win
over Rick Hansen.
