BC High School POW: Dodd & Pike

BC HIGH SCHOOL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Jacob Dodd 1

TRIPLE A
RB JACOB DODD
W.J. Mouat Hawks

Jacob Dodd made a strong case for being the new go-to-guy on offence for the Hawks taking over from Maleek Irons.

In his first exhibition action, Todd rushed for four touchdowns and caught another in W.J. Mouat’s 46-13 win over Robert Bateman. He finished the game with 25 carries for 169 yards and had over 200 all-purpose yards.

Matthew Pike

DOUBLE A
RB MATTHEW PIKE
Kelly Road Roadrunners

In a close game between Kelly Road and College Heights, Matthew Pike helped secure the win for the Roadrunners in last week’s performance.

The grade 12 player returned the opening kickoff 85 yards for the first touchdown of the game, and had a 52-yard touchdown reception in a 26-17 victory. He finished the night with 17 carries for 105 yards rushing, and four catches for 109 yards receiving.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
