BC provincial all-stars: Davis & O’Brien take top honours

BC high school handed out their all-star and awards at their annual banquet last evening.  The AAA player of the year was class 2014 player Marcus Davis (picture #5) & the AA player of the year was class 2013 QB Liam O’Brien.

Davis had over 2400 all-purpose yards and 28 touchdowns in 11 games this year.  O’Brien had almost 3000 all-purpose yards with over 2200 passing (26 TDs) and 750 rushing (13 TDs).
AAA:
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF YEAR: W.J. Mouat RB Maleek Irons (Class 2014)
Irons rushed for a record 3,204 yards (44 TDs) over 12 games, averaging 267 yards per game, with a 10.51 yards-per-carry average.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF YEAR: St. Thomas More DE Dante Vigini (Class 2013) led AAA with 18 sacks, 94 tackles, 3 fumble recoveries.

AA:
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF YEAR: RB Mark Lego Seaquam Seahawks (Class 2013)  rushed for 2,475 yards and 25 touchdowns.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF YEAR: DB/QB Kevin Wiens Mission (Class 2013)
