Brockville recruit “thrilled” about Blues

Brockville defensive back signs with OUA team.

Wade Zanchetta-Dumbrille is excited for where he will begin the next gridiron chapter.

Recently, the 6’1, 192 pound defensive back from Brockville, Ontario signed with University of Toronto Varsity Blues.  Zanchetta-Dumbrille will join the team for the 2015 OUA season.

“I am thrilled to be making University of Toronto my new home for the next four years,” expressed Zanchetta-Dumbrille of his commitment.  “I chose University of Toronto because of their reputation in academic excellence.”

“Once I was introduced to the coaching staff and players during a visit I was sold! Both groups spoke highly about the commitment to school work and the support available that the team offers. Coach [Greg] Gary is a great leader who I could tell cares about his team and his players’ well-being. I believe under his coaching I will be able to achieve my academic goals and grow as a player. I am excited about hitting the field in August with an opportunity to compete.”
