Canada cruised over Spain
Canada took quickly the lead against Spain and cruised for 50-0 (35-0) victory over Spain. Canada’s MVP running back Julie David run two touchdowns in the first quarter and then the third from a kickoff return to help the team to 35-0 half time lead. Mallory Starkey ran for two scores in the second half to close the game. Spanish MVP was defensive back Veraya Romero Coronas.
Spain will play next against Sweden on Saturday for 5th and 6th place, while Canada will play against Finland on Thursday to determine which team advances to championship game.
