Canadian government reviewing football funding: Give your feedback on if it should still be a poverty sport

As you may be aware, the federal/provincial/territorial ministers responsible for sport in Canada are reviewing sport policy for the future. We have the opportunity to express our views as individuals and organizations on the future of football i.e. athlete/coach/officials development, facilities, national team funding, etc… through a “Canadian Sport Policy Renewal” survey that can be found through this link:

The survey closes on June 27[SUP]th[/SUP] and we would encourage posting, with a football slant, of the availability of this survey on our respective web sites and encourage our membership through other social means to contribute by participating with this survey. Football Nova Scotia has already posted this information.

This is a great opportunity for us to be heard and recognized.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
