Carabins add another Nordique to commitment class

Nordique commits to the Carabins.

The University of Montréal Carabins have already had a busy time recruits, and they have since picked up another local commit after Émile Taillefer, a receiver from Collège Lionel-Groulx, committed to the team.

Standing at 6’0, 192lbs, Taillefer also plays as a slotback for Les Nordiques du Collège Lionel-Groulx (Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec Division 2). In high school, he played with Les Empereurs du Collège Letendre (RSEQ) and won an MVP award with the team in 2014.

“I committed to this university because I want to be coached by the best coaches and that’s how we become the best,” he said.

Taillefer is from Laval, Quebec, which is a city north of Montréal. The young football player is going to the HEC Montréal, which is the business school at the university.
