Class of 2028 OL Leif Bergseth out of Mount Douglas in Victoria, BC wasn’t always destined for the trenches. In fact, his football journey started on a whim—an invite from friends to come try out the sport. “They told me to come to their practice one day, put on some gear, and just try it out,” Bergseth said. “It was in the spring of 2023, and as soon as I finished my first practice, I couldn’t wait for the next.” That was all it took. One practice, one taste of the game, and he was hooked.
