TJ Bucel

At the end of his high school career in 2016, TJ Bucel was ready to hang up his cleats for good. Then he got a little extra motivation from Lance Milton, a former UBC Thunder Bird, Montreal Alouette and Toronto Argonaut.

β€œLance pushed me to come back and pursue football in order to best utilize my talents,” Bucel says. He added that Milton has been an amazing mentor to him throughout his attempt to play U Sports football.

Bucel played two seasons of CJFL football before his hard work paid off with an offer from the Golden Bears. β€œI chose to commit to the U of A because it was very close to home and there is something special growing within that program,” says the product of Calgary, Alberta.
