CFC β€œTop 10β€³ Ontario summer rankings (2): The Action and weather heating up! Top Ten clashes across the province.

Last week I believe I spoke of “spring on the verge of giving way to summer”, well this weekend it felt like summer had been here for awhile. Violent storms and stifling heat were factors throughout much of the province as action felt more like the “dog days” of July as opposed to week 2 on the first weekend of June. Expectations were high as no less than 6 match-ups featured top ten battles on both JV and SR. Varsity levels. There were a few upsets, a few surprises, sprinkled with the obvious, which made for some exciting action. One might say, a typical weekend in Ontario summer football!

CFC SUMMER RANKINGS:

The CFC summer rankings are compiled 48-72 hours after the last summer game of the weekend. We include the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL) and the Ontario Football Conference (OFC) teams in the rankings.

Contributors to the summer rankings include 20 CFC Journalists covering summer teams, selected non-affiliated scouts, selected OUA coaches, and selected non-CFC journalists.
