With July right around the corner, week 5 kicked off the second half of the schedule for most teams aka: “the dog days of summer”. The game of the week in “Top Ten” action at both the JV and Senior levels featured the Essex Ravens hosting the Cambridge Lions. Many expected a split of these games which happened, but what was unexpected perhaps was who won. Here’s this week’s CFC “Top 10” Ontario Summer Rankings.
CFC SUMMER RANKINGS:
The CFC summer rankings are compiled 48-72 hours after the last summer game of the weekend. We include the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL) and the Ontario Football Conference (OFC) teams in the rankings.
Contributors to the summer rankings include 20 CFC Journalists covering summer teams, selected non-affiliated scouts, selected OUA coaches, and selected non-CFC journalists.
