Although the regular season is quickly coming to a close it did not mean the action was any less furious. Many big games this weekend, a few surprises and always the ups and downs that make Summer football in Ontario the unpredictable, exciting ride it is. What was dubbed this week’s game of the week TC Predators @ Hamilton, turned out to be anything but as the ‘Canes romp in a one-sided affair . Not more than two weeks ago we were asking if anyone could stop the Jr. Mustangs at the Varsity level, now the Mustangs are in the midst of a two game skid and with the playoffs looming, could this be the prelude to an early playoff exit? Before panic buttons are pushed it should be noted that Team Ontario 2013 left midweek for last minute prep for this year’s Football Canada Cup, leaving many teams (London, particularly hard hit) short many of their stars.
