CFC β€œTop 10β€³ (4): Capital City Clash and Ravens v. Warriors headline week 4

There was no doubt where the focus was this weekend for OFC and OVFL fansΒ as week 4 featured four top tenΒ match-ups with the keenest of interest being paid to the #3 vs. #4Β varsity battle being waged at Loyola Catholic Secondary School in Mississauga and the #5 vs. #6Β JV contest in the Nation’s capital. We asked in week one if this is the year Essex takes that next step on the senior stage, and in a much anticipated battle the third ranked Ravens knocked of the fourth ranked Warriors 35-21. TheΒ JV level had it’s share of excitement as it featured no less than three match-ups of unbeaten clubs. All in all not a lot of movement in the top ten as nobody drops out or enters in at the senior level. At the JV level Huronia’s one week stay comes to an end and for the second time this season Metro Toronto find themselves in the top ten. Here’s how the top ten played out in week 4 of the 2013 summer season.

CFC SUMMER RANKINGS:

The CFC summer rankings are compiled 48-72 hours after the last summer game of the weekend. We include the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL) and the Ontario Football Conference (OFC) teams in the rankings.

Contributors to the summer rankings include 20 CFC Journalists covering summer teams, selected non-affiliated scouts, selected OUA coaches, and selected non-CFC journalists.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
