CFC “TOP 10” Ontario Summer Rankings (9) Bring on the Playoffs!!

The last two weeks of OVFL and OFC play have brought some wacky and unpredictable results. With The Football Canada Cup 2013 leaving some teams without key players and coaches, the unexpected has become the expected. With another great edition of the U-18 championships behind us things should return to normal. What normal is however is another question unto itself.

In the game of the week, both Mississauga and London were missing key players as they went toe-to-toe. Four weeks ago this looked like it might be for first, but now it was about survival as the loser faced the prospect of opening on the road. Other key top 10 matches included Kingston v. Cornwall (Varsity) with Mississauga/London and Brampton/Cumberland being big at the JV level.ย

CFC SUMMER RANKINGS:

The CFC summer rankings are compiled 48-72 hours after the last summer game of the weekend. We include the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL) and the Ontario Football Conference (OFC) teams in the rankings.

Contributors to the summer rankings include 20 CFC Journalists covering summer teams, selected non-affiliated scouts, selected OUA coaches, and selected non-CFC journalists.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
