Football North wins first game ever

Football North traveled to Pennsylvania this past weekend and returned with the programs first ever win.  The running game led the way early as backs Mekhi Hyman and Aaron Watkins took turns grinding it out behind #CFC100 linemen Kyle Hergel and Matt Krzysztalowicz.  Football North jumped out to a 28-6 halftime lead with the scoring coming from Watkins, receiver Nick Mardner, #CFC100 Tyrell Richards (scoop and score), and a 99-yard kick off return by Malcolm Miller.  The team travels to Zanesville, Ohio this weekend to take on the Blue Devils.

The St. Andrew’s Saints defeated #CFC50 team AB Lucas Vikings (London) 27-14 Saturday afternoon on Yuill Field.  The Saints offense was led by Walter and Wells Karabin, with Walter scoring two TDs and Wells also scoring a TD with an incredible one-handed reception.
