Despite a 44-21 loss to Zanesville Blue Devils, Canada Prep Raiders hold on to the top spot. The Blue Devils are ranked 1144 South of the Border by MaxPreps. A bright spot for the Raiders was when pivot Giordy Belfiore connected with Riley Boersma for a 73 yard touchdown in the first quarter. The Raiders also capitalized on an interception as Mason Brown scored after a short drive. Brycen Mayoh also tallied a major.

In Aurora this past weekend, another chapter in a historied rivalry was written on the field.
Upper Canada College Blues took advantage of mental errors and undisciplined penalties by the St. Andrew’s College Saints this past weekend to come through with a last minute 30-25 victory.Ā Patrick Stevenson, Clayton Jeffrey, Justin Wong and Hunter Okubasu all scored touchdowns for the Blues.
Meanwhile the Trinity College Bears scored a 36-26 victory over St. Michael’s College Kerry Blues. Ā Both teams were 14-14 at halftime. Josh Bailey tallied a major in the fourth quarter. This weekend, the Bears host the Upper Canada College Blues in their home opener.
