#CFC10 Non-Public School Rankings (1): Raiders, Blues lead the way

For years we have had requests from CFC fans to differentiate ranking the non-public schools like they would in the United States (see example here).  Well we think it is time to do it as the requests have increased.

The criteria is really simple to start.  A program that is not under the traditional public school system that competes in Canada, the United States, or both.  We look forward to your feedback as we continue to refine this definition.

With the threat of public school strike in Ontario this year, some of the top talent transferred to the non-public schools in order to guarantee they had a season.  No team benefited more than the Canada Prep Raiders who are now full of #CFC100 stars like Ottawa’s Liam Dobson, Mississauga’s Jack Cassar, and Niagara Fall’s Ted Mansell.

Not to be outdone UCC, St. Mike’s and SAC are deep with talent.  2014 OPC MVP Jaden Bailey may be the next Akeel Lynch at St. Mike’s, and SAC looks for big things from Linebacker Nick Grossi as well as Nova Scotia big boys Gregor MacKellor and George Hutchings.  UCC is always there in the end and look for them to be ready to defend their CISSA title.
