#CFC10 ONTARIO SUMMER RANKINGS – JV (5): More controversy?

With eight unbeaten teams left at the JV level, the action much like the weather is heating us as teams gear up for the home stretch. Last weekend served as a bit of a warm-up with one top ten battle, but things really get interesting this week as there are no less than three top ten matchups. As anticipated there was plenty of backlash regarding the Hamilton Hurricanes dropping from first to fifth on a bye week and no doubt ‘Canes fans will be itching for their team to prove us wrong. Time will tell…..Without wasting anymore time, here are the #CFC10 Ontario Rankings for week five.

6) PETERBOROUGH WOLVERINES (5) 4-0 OFC (won 72-0 vs. Clarington) Not at all the same Knights team they faced in last season’s conference final, the Wolverines cruise to an easy win. Things however get a lot more real next week as first place is on the line in a battle of unbeatens with #7 North HaltonΒ  Next up: #7 North Halton

7) NORTH HALTON CRIMSON TIDE (8) 4-0 OFC (won 45-6 vs. Huronia) The Crimson Tide avoided looking ahead and took care of business, now they can focus on the game of the week, their clash with #6 Peterborough Next up: #6 Peterborough

9) NIAGARA SPEARS (7) 2-1 OVFL (lost 39-33 vs. London) Close but no cigar, the Spears fall to London and drop two spots. Unfortunately for the Spears life doesn’t get any easier as they hit the road to take on the top ranked Cambridge Lions.Β  Next up: vs. #1 Cambridge
