#CFC100 Claypool signs with NCAA’s Notre Dame Fighting Irish (VIDEO)

This morning, NCAA Division 1 Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) team Notre Dame Fighting Irish announced that #CFC100 Chase Claypool has signed his Letter of Intent:

On the team’s Signing Day Blog, Head Coach Brian Kelly commented on the 6’6, 215 pound athlete from Abbottsford, British Columbia.

“Chase is an imposing figure at the wide receiver position,” said Kelly.  “He brings the size and athleticism that every team wants.”

“He is also a first class individual who I am excited to work with in the years to come.”

For his part, Claypool is thrilled to be joining the Fighting Irish as he developed a rappport with the football progam.

“Coach Denbrock came down to my school, which meant a lot that he came down all that way to came talk to coaches and teachers,” recalled the CFC#2 player.  “I went down for a camp and got to stay on campus for a few days so it gave me an idea of what it’s like and it felt really good.”

“Then, I bonded with coaches and players over dinner and lunch playing games I watched the guys practice but their GSR was biggest thing for me.”
