After a bumpy ride at Michigan that eventually led to his last minute transfer to conference rivals Minnesota, it all paid off for CFC100 DB Benjamin St-Juste, who was selected 74th overall in the 3rd round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Washington Football Team.

With a rise to fame worthy of a superhero novel, how long will it take for Washington fans to realize they’ve unearthed a rare Canadian gem from the Montreal region? He’s been highly regarded since his high school/CEGEP days when he was ranked 4th on the CFC100 Class of 2017 Rankings.

From Quincy Forde’s Path to the Draft Series

“Long, physical corner for the Minnesota Gophers, Benjamin St-Juste has solidified himself as a highly-regarded NFL prospect thanks to his play over the last couple years. Since a transfer from Michigan for the 2019 season (in which he immediately became a starter as he sat out at Michigan in 2018), heā€™s posted 59 tackles (1.5 for loss) and 13 pass breakups through 18 games as a Gopher. Most recently, he starred at the Reeseā€™s Senior Bowl where he was the highest graded defensive back in one-on-ones on the week as per PFF.”

Draft Outlook as of April 29th: Benjamin St-Juste should go in the first 4 rounds of the NFL Draft, my grade would likely be a 3rd round stamp.
