We might have taken a rest for the week, but there was no rest for CFC100 Class of 2023 DE Toluwanimi Tunde who announced his commitment to UConn last week.
Tunde originally hails from Montreal but decided to make the move to Southern Ontario to play at Canada Prep. The 6’5″, 270lbs prospect earned early U Sports offers from Queen’s, McMaster and U of T before beginning to attract interest from programs south of the border. He attended camps at Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and Marshall before finally grabbing offers from UConn and Buffalo following stellar camp days.
In the past four years UConn have always be active in the Canadian recruiting scene earning signatures from CFC Prospect Game CFC100 Malcolm Bell, CFC100 Carter Hooper, CFC60 Chris Fortin, CFC60 Jack Zergiotis, CFC100 Russell Dixon and CFC100 Lwal Uguak.
