The 6’3″, 240lbs defensive end prospect originally hails from Ottawa where he played at St. Matthew, making an appearance at the OFSAA Festival in 2017 against CFC50 Huron Heights, and he also played junior ball for the North Gloucester Giants of the NCAFA. Mesidor became one of the most popular prospects on the trail earning Power 5 offers from the likes Indiana, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, and Kansas State among others, but decided he’d rather be singing ‘Take Me Home, Country Roads’ on Saturday afternoons instead.

CFC Lead Analyst, Clint Uttley, was impressed with Mesidor’s abilities when he was originally ranked on the Class of 2020 top five during his junior season at Royal Imperial,

“Mesidor is very much a run and hit type linebacker. He does a good job at keying and diagnosing plays. Once he makes a read, he demonstrates quickness and solid lateral movement. At this point in his career, he seems to be more of a grab and drag when it comes to tackling. He needs to work on learning how to defeat blocks as well, otherwise, he has all the tools to turn into and outstanding weakside linebacker as he can run sideline to sideline as his recent combine scores have shown.”

Depending on CFC100 defensive back Alonza Addae’s draft status, Mesidor may have a familiar Canadian face on campus after Addae made the transfer from New Hampshire this past season.
