Mestidor is a 6’3″, 240lbs rush end out of St. Thomas More School in Connecticut. He originally hails from the Ottawa region where lined up for the St. Peter Knights, and made his first appearance on the NCAA trail with an offer from Western Michigan in June last year. Mestidor collected a couple more Power 5 offers from Michigan and Syracuse before announcing his transfer to St. Thomas More School, and eventually earned 20 DI offers before settling on the West Coast lifestyle.

CFC Lead Analyst, Clint Uttley, projected Mestidor would make an impact down south when he first cracked the rankings as a junior,

“Mestidor is a rush end who might be one of the more physically gifted defenders in the Class of 2020. This young man actually looks like a university player already. On top of that, he not only has a ton of potential on the field, but is currently backing it up at offseason camps where he is putting up DI numbers. Over the next two years, I can see Mestidor turning into a major college prospect who will no doubt receive a lot of attention – both here in Canada and from the NCAA.”

Mestidor is the fourth Canadian to commit to UCLA since CFC began tracking data back in 2010 joining Anthony Thompson Jr., Eli Ankou and current Bruins kicker J.J. Molson. Ankou was selected in the 3rd round of the 2017 CFL Draft by his hometown Ottawa Redblacks, and currently plays for the Cleveland Browns registering 19 career tackles.
