The 6’7″, 345lbs lineman prospect originally hails from Milton where he played at St. Michael’s College before transferring to Football North prior to his sophomore season. Lawrence spent the last three years playing a full American schedule, and has experimented playing on both sides of the line. He earned his first NCAA offer from Howard in January 2018, but eventually worked his way into FBS territory with the Gophers taking a liking to the big man in the middle.
Having participated at the Fox 40 Prospect Challenge during his days at SMC, he’s been on CFC Lead Analyst Clint Uttley’s radar for a long time,
“He combines outstanding size with a nice balance of power and sneaky big guy quickness. Lawrence has a lot of the qualities that you can’t teach that make him such an intriguing prospect. You could really see thisĀ young man improve during his sophomore season. Heading into his junior season, if he continues to improve at the same rate, he’ll no doubt receive more offers. Moving forward, this young man needs to get into great shape and lean out his frame.”
Lawrence will be joined by fellow Canadian CFC100 Benjamin St-Juste, who transferred to Minnesota from Michigan this past season.
