The Canadian Cowboy is ready for his next ride as CFC100 RB Chuba Hubbard out of Oklahoma State was selected 126th overall in the 4th round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers.

Hubbard has been one of the most highly touted Canadian prospects in history earning the top spot on the CFC100 Class of 2017 Rankings after a mesmerizing high school career at Bev Facey in Sherwood Park, Alberta.

He proved all his doubters wrong once he arrived at Oklahoma State, will there be any left when he arrives in Carolina?

From Quincy Forde’s Path to the Draft Series

“We kick off our series with who is likely the most well-known Canadian player in college football, Chuba Hubbard. The Canadian Cowboy was a first-team All-American in 2019, along with being a Doak Walker Award finalist, and finishing 8th in Heisman voting. He rushed for 2,094 yards, making him the rushing leader in college football, averaging 161 rushing yards per game. His season included two 250+ rushing yards performances. Obviously the focal point of Chuba Hubbard skillset is his blazing speed. Formerly a member of Canada’s National track team and doubling as a track athlete at Oklahoma State, the guy can run.”

Draft Outlook From October 1st: Chuba Hubbard is pretty much a lock to be a day two draft pick in the NFL Draft. He will probably be a top three running back off the board alongside Clemson’s Travis Etienne, who seems likely to be the first, and Alabama’s Najee Harris, who as of right now has likely leapfrogged Hubbard due to his poor performance thus far.
