We kick off the week with more U Sports recruiting news as CFC150 offensive lineman Clay Vetter will be heading east to play football for the Saskatchewan Huskies next season. The 6โ2, 260lbs guard spent the last four years as a member of the Holy Rosary Raiders (LCSD). Previously, Vetter had spent his time as a youth in the Lloydminster Minor Football Association (LMFA).
โI chose U of S because of the amazing culture and the schooling they have there. Not only will I be able to continue football at an amazing football program, Iโll be getting a great education to go along with it,โ he says. ย โThe coaches and community are so welcoming and seems like the right fit.โ
Vetter will be taking agribusiness at the University of Saskatchewan.
