It was a special weekend for CFC40 DE Tavius Robinson out of Ole Miss, who was selected 124th overall in the 4th round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

The Guelph, ON native will be joining the Ravens after a winding road to the pros that included originally committing to the local Guelph Gryphons. Robinson spent two years in the OUA where he was able to attract NCAA interest after being named to the the OUA All-Rookie Team. and earning OUA Second-Team honours in 2019. During his time with the Gryphons he totaled 65 tackles and 13.5 sacks, which was enough to convince Ole Miss that he’d be an impact prospect in the SEC with the help of his towering 6’6″, 265lbs frame.

Robinson joined the Rebels as a junior, and quickly made his presence known starting five games during his first year on campus while registering 18 tackles and one sack. He continued his rise in 2021 appearing in 11 games and racking up 28 tackles and 3.5 sacks, and then really exploded onto the scene during his final year at Ole Miss starting all 13 games and finishing the season with 44 tackles, seven sacks, five forced fumbled and two fumble recoveries. While his dominance on the field was easy to see for scouts, he was also a machine in the classroom earning SEC First-Year Honour Roll in 2020/2021, SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll in 2021, Dean’s Honor Roll in fall 2020 and spring 2021, and Athletic Director’s Honor Roll in fall 2021 and spring 2022.

Robinson spent his high school career at Guelph Collegiate Vocational where helped them win back-to-back D10 titles while also earning D10 MVP and Linemen of the Year as a senior. He also played community ball with the Guelph Jr. Gryphons of the OPFL.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
