The mysterious Canadian is a mystery no more as CFC40 OT Alaric Jackson was signed by the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent at the conclusion of the 2021 NFL Draft per reports from 3DownNations Justin Dunk.
Considering he only began playing football as a junior in high school once he moved across the border from Windsor to Michigan, professional coaches haven’t even scratched the surface of the underlying potential Jackson beholds.
From Quincy Forde’s Path to the Draft Series
“The player of focus today is Iowa Hawkeyes bruising left tackle Alaric Jackson. Jacksonβs been a mainstay on the Hawkeyes offensive line, as a 4-year starter at left tackle. He redshirted his first year with the program that regularly produces NFL offensive linemen before becoming a lock protecting the QBβs blindside. Jackson was born and grew up in Canada in Windsor, Ontario before moving to Michigan for high school. He did not begin playing football until his junior year of high school, making his immediate success a testament to his natural ability.”
Draft Outlook From October 31st: Alaric Jackson will likely be a day two NFL draft pick, possibly early day 3, with the potential to be a late day one pick if he shines this year.
