….and now let’s get to it with this week’sĀ #CFC50Ā Games of the Week PREVIEW (Regular season)

No. 3 A. N. Myer Marauders (5-0) v. Sir Winston Churchill (3-2)
Friday, November 4th at 2:00pm
The Marauders hope to keep the locomotive rolling as they get ready for a rematch versus Sir Winston Churchill to end the year. In the first contest Churchill didnā€™t put up much of a resistance falling 37-0, and they once again will be in for a long day facing #CFC100 quaterback Tre Ford who is coming off a masterful six touchdown performance. Of course Tre Ford cannot do it all on his own, and should receive plenty of help from his brother #CFC100 Tyrell Ford, Tyler Hildebrand and Rushon Dagelman.

No. 10. Huron Heights Warriors (6-0)
Bye week.

No. 13 St. Roch Ravens (6-0) v. Lorne Park (5-1)
Thursday, November 3rd at 3:00pm
This game should have everything a football fan dreams when the St. Roch Ravens take on the Lorne Park Spartans in our #CFC50 game of the week. With a three-way dance going on between St. Roch, Lorne Park and #CFC50 St. Marcellinus atop the division, these two rivals should leave everything on the field as they seek out the best possible position heading into the playoffs. If the Ravens are playing, you always need to keep an eye out for their talented group of stars featuring quarterback Deandre Rose, running back Juwan Jeffrey, along with the trio of Dante Waite, Joojo Paintsil and Gabriel Appiah-Kubi out wide.

No. 18 Catholic Central Crusaders (5-0) v. Regina Mundi (3-2)
Friday, November 4th at 12:00pm
With first place in the division already locked up, Catholic Central will be looking to stay sharp going up against a challenging opponent from Regina Mundi. Coming off a wild three touchdown performance, watch for #CFC100 Daniel Valente to make an impact one way or another in this one. Some other players to watch will be Crusadersā€™ quarterback Jake Beukeboom, as well as running back Derek Aubin.

No. 19 South Lions (5-0) v. Saunders (4-1)
Friday, November 4th at 1:00pm
In a twist ending to the regular season, the South Lions are hoping to stave off a challenge for their division lead when they take on the Saunders Sabres. After dropping their first game versus Central, Saunders has bounced back with four straight wins, but will be in tough going up a South defence who has allowed exactly zero points through their first five games. If they want to avoid becoming just another mercy victim, the Sabres will need to find a way to stop the Lionsā€™ star running back Nick Morello who has sliced up every defence thrown at him this year.

No. 22 Denis Morris Reds (7-0) v. Lakeshore Catholic (1-6)
Tuesday, November 1st at 3:00pm
Denis Morris defeated Lakeshore 38-0.

No. 26 Etobicoke Rams (5-0) v. Downsview (3-2)
Thursday, November 3rd at 2:00pm
Etobicoke look to complete a spotless regular season with a tricky matchup versus Downsview to close out the year. There will be lots of talent to pay attention to in this one, with Justice Allin and Samuel Conteh doing damage out of the backfield for the Rams, while the Mustangs hope that #CFC100 Yusef Durabola can provide an answer key on defence for the formidable duo.

No. 29 St. Joan of Arc Knights (5-0) v.sSt. Theresaā€™s (2-2-1)
Thursday, November 3rd at 3:30pm
Congratulations St. Theresaā€™s, youā€™re the next contestant on ā€œHow do you score against Joan of Arc?ā€. The Knights have been a wall all season of defence and it will be a true test for any opponent to score enough points to beat this team.

No. 34 St. Marcellinus Spirit (5-1) v. Our Lady of Mount Carmel (3-3)
Thursday, November 3rd at 1:00pm
As previously mentioned, St. Marcellinus will be fighting for second seed in the playoffs as they end their regular season campaign versus Our Lady of Mount Carmel. As always, the player to watch in this one will be the Spiritā€™s standout running back Kevin Wong.

No. 38 St. Peter Knights (5-1)
Bye week.

No. 45 St. Maximilian Kolbe Mustangs (4-1) v. Markham District (0-5)
Friday, November 4th at 1:30pm
With their second seed in the playoff bracket set in stone, St. Max will be looking to tie up any loose ends as they take on a winless team from Markham District to close out the season. While staying healthy will be objective number one, still keep an eye out for quarterback Ben Langois and Nolan Lovegrove to make some noise in this contest.

No. 48 Sir Wilfrid Laurier Rams (5-0) v. Clarke Road (4-1)
Thursday, November 3rd at 1:00pm
Sir Wilfrid Laurier will not have the luxury of taking it easy this week as they take on Clarke Road with first place on the line. The storyline in this one will be if a Clarke Road offence who has scored a league high 183 points can find a way to solve a Ramsā€™ defence who has allowed a league low 32 points.
