The Thanksgiving long weekend signifies the stretch run in the CIS season. With four weeks to go (three in the OUA), teams are fighting for playoff spots, home field advantage and first round byes making each game more crucial than the last. The real playoff contenders tend to be peaking at this time of year and you get a truer sense of the haves and have nots, making it. As the cream rises it becomes clearer how strong each conference is and don’t forget we take a rather weekly approach to the Power Rankings as the season unfolds.
