Quarterback Jamie Ybarra is back in the CJFL

In 2013 Jamie Ybarra came into the CJFL trying to fill the giant shoes of graduating VI Raiders quarterback Jordan Yantz, who set numerous CJFL passing records during his junior career.
Ybarra wasn’t phased and helped lead the Raiders to another BCFC crown and berth in the Canadian Bowl in Regina.
He was named the BCFC Rookie of the Year in the process.
However the next season (2014) he headed south to try his luck at a junior college in California.
Now in 2015 Ybarra has returned to the CJFL to play for his hometown Winnipeg Rifles, still looking for his first PFC victory. He talks with Ryan Watters (@ryan2tswatters)
