The CJFL is proud to announce their Players of the Week following an exciting Week 10 of the regular season.

BC Conference
RB Robbie Rodrigues ā€“ Okanagan Sun

The Sun ground game compiled 311 yards on Sunday led by Rodrigues who was outstanding with 183 yards on 16 carries.Ā  He rattled off a 51 yard run, then caught one pass for 52 yards.Ā  In all he recorded 235 all-purpose yards and his first ever nod for CJFL Offensive Player of the Week.

Ontario Conference
QB Jake Marquette ā€“ Hamilton Hurricanes

For the second straight week Hurricanes pivot Jake Marquette is named the Player of the Week.Ā Ā  He completed 18 of 29 passes for 280 yards and threw a pair of touchdown passes against the GTA Grizzlies and got the win.

Prairie Conference
RB Adam Machart ā€“ Saskatoon Hilltops

The third year running back was part of a Hilltops offence that racked up 601 yards.Ā  Machart accounted for 221 of it on 12 carries and scored a touchdown in their final home game of the regular season.

Defensive Players of the Week

BC Conference
DL Jeremie Drouin ā€“ Westshore Rebels

Perhaps his best game of the season leading the Rebels with four solo tackles and had an assisted stop.Ā  He also had one of the four Rebels sacks and recovered a fumble that he forced.

Ontario Conference
DB Isaiah Bonenfant ā€“ GTA Grizzlies

He was stellar compiling an incredible 11 solo tackles and was seemingly in on every stop.

Prairie Conference
LB Donovan Hillary ā€“ Winnipeg Rifles

Saturday night one of the bright spots on the Rifles defence was linebacker Donovan Hillary.Ā  He made five solo tackles, had three assisted stops and had the Rifles lone sack of the game.

Special Teams Players of the Week

BC Conference
PK James Parker ā€“ VI Raiders

For the second time this season Parker wins this Conference award.Ā  He accounted for 16 of the Raiders 42 points on Saturday night hitting his four field goal attempts and was perfect in four converts.Ā Ā  He also made six kick-offs netting 207 yards.

Ontario Conference
PF Johnny Rekiel ā€“ Hamilton Hurricanes

He was perfect on two field goals in the Canes road victory on Sunday.Ā  He also booted five kick-offs for 285 yards.

Prairie Conference
LB Riley Keating ā€“ Saskatoon Hilltops

He was one of the first Hilltops to the returner on almost every kick.Ā  He made three special teams tackles and had one assisted stop.
