In Bantam he played for the Raiders, and the past 2 seasons he has played midget for the Chargers. In 2010, in grade 10, Chase played for his high school senior team, the Ross Sheppard Thunderbirds.

In 2007 Chase received the Offensive Lineman of the year award for the peewee Seahawks. In 2009 he received the same award with the bantam Raiders. In 2010 he was the ‘rookie of the year’ for the midget Chargers and played for the Edmonton Elite team that represented the city at the Alberta summer games. Chase made it to the final camp of the U18 Alberta squad this year but did not make the final squad. Expect him to star for next years Alberta squad when the Football Canada Cup moves to Ontario.

The most influential people in his life are “my mom who got me started in football and my dad who supports me.” In football “my coaches, in particular Colin Weeks who was my very first coach and coached me for four years, and Mr. Buchynski who is my high school coach and also Martin Kreiner my lineman coach in Midget for 2 years. ”

His most memorable football experience “was when our Bantum team won both City and Provincial Championships in 2009. I played with the Edmonton Raiders Football Club.”
