Nick has a wealth of experience playing football for the last six years. Among the teams he has played for are the bantam (2007/2008), junior varsity (2009/2010) and varsity (2011/2012) Burlington Stampeders of the Ontario Football Conference (OFC) and for his high school team, M.M. Robinson Rams. During his time with both the Stampeders and Rams, the offensive star has been a team captain.

In July 2011, Nick represented Team Ontario West at the Football Canada Cup in Lethbridge, Alberta. Also in that same year he was selected by the Burlington Braves and Halton coaches as a Halton Tier 1 all-star. Most recently, the Rams offensive tackle has been selected on the Golden Horseshoe team which will play in the all-star game May 6th at McMaster University.

The greatest influence on Nick has been Rams football coach Marcello Campanero, who’s impacted the standout’s life beyond the gridiron.

“He helps me not only develop my skills, he is a teacher at M.M. Robinson, he helps me train in the weight room, discusses and explains the whole recruiting process to me and has told me almost everything I know about the universities,” explains Nick. “Basically, he is helping me plan my future and has helped me picked what classes to take in high school to help me get to university.”

Nick is motivated yet inspired by the impact his mother has had throughout his life.

“She raised four kids by herself and is putting them all through university,” comments the Rams offensive tackle. “She also is in teaching and that’s the field I’m interested in.”

All the goals achieved thus far in Nick’s life on and off the field come from the simplicity he strives to achieve for in football and all other aspects of life.

“I have coached and played this game and I love it, that’s basically it,” adds the offensive standout.

Currently, there are some concrete goals Nick will be trying to accomplish in the next year and beyond high school.

“My plans are come back to high school next year, win a championship, graduate then go to university and see where that leads me either with football or teaching,” says Nick.

No matter what goals he sets to accomplish, the Rams offensive tackle will take away the many things he’s learned from the game to aid him in achieving further success.

“The main things I take from football and use in real life would be team work, leadership, and thinking on your feet,” comments Nick.
