Quebec lineman recently signs with RSEQ team.

Logan Commanda will be playing in Quebec next season.

The 6’1, 275 pound lineman from Maniwaki, Quebec recently committed to the Concordia Stingers for the 2014 RSEQ season.

“I committed to Concordia because I wanted a change in scenery, new town, new school and new people,” explained Commanda of his decision.  “I went for a visit to the school and I just loved it.”

“The new coaches, Mickey and Pat Donovan, really care for their players, makes you feel welcomed.  I can’t wait to suit up.”

Recently, the lineman played for the Ottawa Sooners of the Ontario Football Conference (OFC) in the Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL).  This past season, Commanda registered 78 pancakes, and 1 sack allowed in seven games.

Additionally, he has suited up for the Widdifield Wildcats of the Northern Ontario Secondary School Association (NOSSA), junior varsity Cumberland Panthers of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL) and Darcy McGee Gee-Gees.
