Dinos commit impresses at spring camp

Calgary adds one out-of-province commit to their 2019 class.

Simon Li hasn’t been playing football for very long, but the offensive lineman from West Vancouver Secondary School didn’t need a lot of time to impress the University of Calgary Dinos.

“The school is nice,” Li said. “They invited me to the spring football camp (and) showed respect to me.”

Li, who has been playing for one season, added that the coaches are “kind and have a lot of experience.”

Standing at 6’7, 300lbs, the left tackle was a Pacific Conference all-star in 2018. He played with the West Vancouver Highlanders (BCSSFA) in his hometown of Vancouver, BC. He is interested in business or arts.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
