Eagles stifle Cowboys

OVFL: Senior Varsity Eagles fly high against Cowboys

Etobicoke brought their β€˜A’ game this week and showed what discipline and sticking to a game plan can do for an organization. The defense stood tall this weekend and successfully shut out the Cowboys.

Offensively, the Cowboys put up 17 points on the board in a hard fought battle. Jamal Crooks and Immanuel Archer are credited with the touchdowns that helped carry the Eagles to victory this week. The offensive player of the game was Neko Hamilton who had a great day rushing for the Eagles. With an average of over 10 yards per carry, he carried the team helping them gain necessary yards.

The defensive player of the game goes to Thomas Koos. A rookie defensive back from Richview had a tremendous game helping the team shut out the Cowboys this week.

After a great weekend of football, look for the Eagles to bring the same intensity next week as they look for back to back victories.
